How it works

Simple Quote is built for one job: turn a quick site visit into a quote you can send before you leave the driveway.

1. Snap the job

Take up to three photos on site and tap in a quick note. The photos are only used to write the quote — they are not stored.

2. Draft the description

Simple Quote reads the photos and your note, then writes a customer-friendly description, picks matching items from your price list, and flags anything to double-check.

3. Check the numbers

Edit the description, adjust quantities, add items, or remove anything that does not fit. The running total updates as you go.

4. Send it

Tap Send to open your email app with the quote already written, Copy to paste it into a message, or PDF to print it. The quote is saved to your list.

5. Track your quotes

On the Quotes page, tap the status chip to mark a job as sent, accepted, or dead so you know what is still live.

Tips to get the best draft

Set your real prices first on the Prices page — the app starts with typical UK domestic rates so you are never staring at a blank list.
The clearer your note, the better the draft. “Socket dead in kitchen, two spurs needed” beats “fix electrics”.
Photos work best in daylight and from a couple of angles.

Put it on your phone

Simple Quote installs straight to your home screen — an icon of its own, full screen, no address bar.

iPhone

Open the app in Safari, tap the Share button, then tap “Add to Home Screen”.

Android

Open the app in Chrome, tap the three dots, then tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.

Privacy note

Your price list and saved quotes stay on your device. Site photos are read once to help write the quote and are not stored anywhere.
